The Chun Kyung-Ja Foundation was established by the artist’s daughter Sumita Kim in the United States.
The purpose of the Foundation is to preserve and manage the artistic legacy of Chun Kyung-Ja and to ensure that she is widely recognized and studied as a significant artist.
The Foundation will publish the first English language monograph book on the artist in 2025. The Foundation encourages and assists academic research about Chun Kyung-Ja and her works.
The Foundation’s Artist Prize recognizes artistic excellence as a means of promoting the arts as a vital force in contemporary culture. Information on the prize is forthcoming.
The organization is financed through its own revenues and private support.
